Paying It Forward

As Bywater Herring are putting together the yearly plans, we’ve been looking at how we can benefit the community of Irthlingborough. Karen and Sue give their free time every month to being members of the IGrow (Irthlingborough Events) team and actively support the events that are held throughout the year in the town.

Being based on the High Street in Irthlingborough, we are committed to giving back and last year we were proud to have made the following donations:

Irthlingborough Junior School – donation of books from Osborne Books to boost the library

Irthlingborough Infants School – donation of books from Osborne Books to boost the library

Huxlow Academy – donation of reuseable water bottles for students to cut down on plastic waste

I-Grow (Irthlingborough Events) – cash donation to support the Christmas Fest

Irthlingborough Food Bank – donation of staff volunteers to help fund raising

Irthlingborough High Street – donation of fresh apples free to anyone

Bywater Herring will be pleased to continue to support the hard-working volunteers in various Irthlingborough groups. We are happy for our people to donate their time during working hours to give back to our community and we are grateful for the support of local residents.
